Mountain Wilderness International, General Assembly in Bagà, Catalonia, May 20 to 22

The Mountain Wilderness International General Assembly is hold every 2 years.

This year the meeting will take place from May 20th to May 22nd in Bagà, 120 km north of Barcelona and close to the French Pyrenean border.

This is a unique opportunity to better understand the issues and actions that Mountain Wilderness undertake across Europe and beyond and contribute in setting its direction by voting on the proposals that will be presented. This is also a forum for sharing wilderness experiences in a relaxed and friendly athmosphere.

Exceptionnally, this year we will revisit the “Biella thesis” (the fundamental manifesto of the organization), to enhance it in the light of recent changes affecting the mountain environment

Each national chapter has the possibility to send a number delegates to this event. Should you be interested in attending, please contact your local MW organization for logistics.
