Glaciers: a story worth preserving

Mountain Wilderness (MW) International is hosting an online event to
mark International Mountain Day and the closing of the International
Year of Glacier Preservation.

The program will feature guest speakers working on glacier-related
projects, from scientific research to artistic exploration.
Representatives from several MW national chapters will share
updates on glacier conditions in their countries and present MW
initiatives focused on their protection.

Together, we’ll reflect on the urgent need for stronger synergies to
safeguard our glaciers and conclude with a call to action and an
open discussion with the public.
